Picking finalists for the 2018 NYMP Cover Contest was a nearly impossible task for our staff. We received more than 1,300 “aww”-inspiring entries in all! It was a dazzling display of total cuties (we’re talking dimples, curls, freckles, bright eyes, and big, beautiful smiles), making our job way tough. But after much deliberation we’re proud to present the 10 children who are advancing to the contest’s final round:

This morning the children met up with our staff at a kids’ photo studio in Manhattan (thank you, Big Apple Portraits!), where we took a bunch of great photos. We had snazzy outfits on hand and fun and sporty props too, so it was a glam day filled with plenty of giggles. Take a good look at this bunch (pictured here in a behind-the-scenes snapshot), and we’re sure you’ll agree they’re all absolutely adorable!
Scarlett, our Fan Favorite who received the largest number of votes on Facebook, will receive a family 4-pack of tickets to Sesame Place. And two children will each win a grand prize – one will receive a professional photo shoot as well as a scholarhip from Barbizon, international modeling and acting school. The other winner will win a two-night stay at Woodloch Pines Resort. And, of course, both winners will appear on the cover of our magazines: Big Apple Parent, Brooklyn Parent, Long Island Parent, Queens Parent, Rockland Parent, Rockland Paren – Bergen Edition, and Westchester Parent.
