Audition for The Ailey School’s Junior Division

The Ailey School’s Junior Division offers a highly structured curriculum for conservatory training in its Pre-Professional Program for young dancers, ages 7 to 17. Students participate in after-school and weekend classes during the school year.

All levels include training in ballet and at least one other technique. As students progress, more techniques are added to their training such as jazz, Ailey Horton, modern, pointe, tap, and West African.

Classes are taught by The Ailey School’s esteemed dance educators who share their experience and expertise in a nurturing environment where students develop a love of movement while gaining a strong technical foundation.

Auditions: April 6 – ages 7-10 only
