Cris Pearlstein

Cris Pearlstein is a born-and-bred New Yorker whose favorite things are pizza, memoirs, and her family. She lives with her husband, toddler daughter Frankie, and grumpy mini dachshund Enzo. She is a veteran of the magazine industry—having served as a fashion editor + stylist for over 12 years — but now is a full-time mom + part-time writer who pens essays about motherhood, infertility, family, food, and anything else that comes to her mind while in the shower. She also has a newsletter called, “Hi, It’s Your Older Sister,” which she really just uses as an excuse to boss people around. Most mornings, you’ll find Cris in the kitchen, making green smoothies and packing fun, kid-friendly lunches for her daughter.
