Joe's Pizza - Manhattan
If we didn't include this quintessential place, is this really a pizza roundup? Owned by the man himself, Joe Pozzuoli, this famous pizza place has been open since 1975. Currently 75-years-old, Joe still runs the place and continues to make the same exact recipe he's been making for over 40 years. Emilio's of Morris Park - The Bronx
Pizza doesn't just have to be red sauce and cheese--you gotta get yourself a white sauce sometimes, too! This joint is the talk of the Bronx for their beloved white pizza. Within the thin slice you have creamy ricotta cheese and stretchy mozzarella melted and married with garlic sauce on top of the crunchy crust. Raved about by most Bronx residents, Emilio's has delighted locals since 1989.
Rosa's Pizza - Queens
Queens has a world of cultures mixed together in one borough, but one thing is for sure, they have the Italian pizzerias in NYC. At Rosa's you get the budget-friendly and family-friendly vibe of the restaurant's ambiance and the friendliness of the staff who bring out the freshest pizza your eyes can gaze upon.
