Brooklyn Children’s House in Bedford Stuyvesant is open for enrollment and offers half-day, full-day, and extended-day care and education for children ages 2 through 5. The Montessori school provides a high quality and intimate educational alternative to large school programs.
All of the educators at Brooklyn Children’s House are all trained in Montessori education, as well as are trained and experienced in music and dance curriculum for early childhood.
Brooklyn Children’s House offers a half-day care option that runs from 8:30am to 12pm, a full-day care option that runs from 8:30am to 3:30pm, and an extended-day program that runs from 3:30pm to 6:30pm. The daycare center and preschool are still accepting applicants for the Fall 2018 session. To apply, parents should visit Brooklyn Children’s House website where they can fill out a family survey and either attend an open house and play date or schedule a tour to determine if the school is the right fit for you and your child
Montessori education is based on scientific observation of child development with a goal for each child to become an independent being of their own time and place, uniquely individual, and ready to walk their own path with confidence. All curriculum and materials involved in the Montessori program are intentional in the specific purpose of aiding the child’s individual development.
