CC Sabathia, a veteran pitcher for the New York Yankees, is hosting his second celebrity softball game at Yankee Stadium, and NYMetroParents is giving away five family 4-packs of tickets. The charity softball game will be held Thursday, May 16 at 6:30pm at Yankee Stadium in the Bronx.

Sabathia and Michael Strahan, former NFL player and media personality, will be the team managers. Sabathia’s team will have Fat Joe, a rapper from the Bronx, as coach with Jamie Foxx, actor, musician, and comedian, as captain. Meanwhile Strahan’s team will have Carlos Beltran, former Yankees outfielder, as coach and Dascha Polanco, known for her role as Daya on Orange is the New Black, as captain.

All proceeds from the event will support youth and community programs of the PitCCh In Foundation and the New York Yankees Foundation.
PitCCh In Foundation was established in 2008 by Sabathia and his wife Amber, with the goal to help the communities that have given them so much. PitCCh In offers baseball clinics for boy and girls ages 5-12, a Youth Backpack Program, which provides backpacks and school supplies to kids in need throughout Vallejo, CA and the Bronx, and a Field Renovation Program to ensure kids have a safe place to play the game.
The New York Yankees Foundation partners with community-based organizations to host events at Yankee Stadium and supports various outreach efforts focused on providing positive education, recreational, healthy, and social outlets for NYC residents.
