Celebrate Harry Potter’s Birthday!

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter is a coming to New York for the month of July in celebration of Harry Potter’s birthday, July 31, thanks to The Scholastic Store.

For the entire month of July, for every copy of Harry Potter sold, The Scholastic Store will donate a copy to The Pajama Program. The Pajama Program is a nonprofit organization that helps children in need by giving them books and pajamas.

Bring your young readers or dedicated Potter fans to The Scholastic Store from 1 P.M. to 4 P.M. to take part in one of their daily activities!

*Monday-Divination and Potions class

*Tuesday-Think you know all about Harry Potter? Put your skills to the test for trivia Tuesday!

*Wednesday- CRAFTS!

*Thursday- Sample specialties from the Three Broomsticks

*Friday- There will be a video posted on The Scholastic Store Facebook page of a new Fun Fact from the Harry Potter team

*Saturday- Each week there is a different celebration for the different houses at Hogwarts!

*Sunday- A different animal from Harry Potter will be shown

On Saturday July 26, get in touch with your inner Wizard or Witch and go to the Gryffindor House Party where you can  enjoy crafts, games, and visits from costumed characters!

July 31st The Pajama Program will collect their books at the store and celebrate the famous Wizard’s birthday!

You may be a Muggle (non-magical people) but you can still partake in the fun and for a month pretend to be a part of the magical world that has captivated us for so many years!
