Chef Paula Gottlieb of LilChefs.com knows just the
ingredients for a fun and successful party.
Chef Paula Gottlieb grew up in Brooklyn, where her foodie father passed onto her his passion for cooking and food. To honor her late father, Chef Gottlieb founded LilChefs.com in 2005, a special events planning business that focuses on teaching children the importance of making good food choices by allowing them to touch, taste, and smell ingredients before transforming them into various dishes. In doing so, Chef Gottlieb empowers children and gives them the authority to prep their own meals, getting even the most finicky of eaters to explore new foods.
The 2.5 hour all-inclusive party, including chef’s hats and aprons to decorate, travels with all necessary equipment and ingredients to your home in Manhattan and all NYC boroughs, Long Island, Westchester, and parts of NJ, or has 18 other venues to choose from. LilChefs.com offers several themes, including the Taco Party, where kids get to use a lettuce knife to cut a rainbow of vegetables, and the more elaborate three-course Retro Party where kids experience fondue, help measure ingredients, and learn proper etiquette like “no double-dipping.” Parties are for kids ages 6-14, depending on the skills required for the kitchen.
