Christmas extravaganza at Queens Botanical Garden

Get into the holiday spirit with fun for the whole family! Christmas in the Garden returns to Queens Botanical Garden on Dec. 3.

Families enjoy live musical performances, photos with Santa (fee required), tree lighting, garden tour, holiday crafts, New York Cares coat drive, workshop (fee required), and blowout sales at QBG Shop!

Take a snap with the Jolly Old Elf from Noon to 4:30 pm; stop and make a holiday craft from noon to 5 pm; Be creative and learn about conifers in the Pinetum, then make a swag and wreath in the workshop ($10, registration required, all materials included).

While you are waiting for the tree to be lit up enjoy a performance by The Rough Dozen Acapella and a bout of Christmas carolling.

Donate a coat for those in need — the Garden is a collection site for the annual New York Cares coat drive for those most in need.

Artistree Performing Arts

Young Actors at Strasberg

Young Actors at Strasberg&nbsp;offers a comprehensive array of acting programs for students in grades 2 &ndash;&nbsp;12. Classes provide kids and teens with a foundation in Lee Strasberg's Method Acting and the tools to succeed in the professional industry &ndash;&nbsp;all while maintaining a fun and playful environment. Programs are tailored to encompass students at all levels, from those just beginning their acting journey to Broadway veterans and professional child actors. Young Actors at Strasberg alumni include Lady Gaga, Sophia Lillis, Angelina Jolie, Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson and Rosario Dawson! Young Actors&nbsp;Programs are available online and in-person at our New York Campus, located in Union Square. Saturday, After-School and Online classes are offered during the traditional school year (Fall, Winter, and Spring) and Monday through Friday day camps and intensives are held in&nbsp;July and August.
