Prepare to find the treasure at the end of the Disney rainbow at “Disney On Ice Treasure Trove” presented by Stonyfield YoKids Organic Yogurt. Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Goofy hosted the treasure hunt and transported the audience to different stories on the ice. From the story that started all the Disney magic, “Snow White,” to the adventures of “Alice in Wonderland,” each moment was a magical moment watching these classic Disney stories come alive on the ice.

The entire show was like a dream come true on ice! With athletic and artistic skating, creative costumes, spectacular special effects, and the Disney songs and stories we all know and love, there was magic at every corner of the ice. This fairytale come true made for an enchanted afternoon as the ice constantly transformed with thrilling scenery and special effects for every one of the stories: “Peter Pan,” “Lion King,” “Snow White,” “Aladdin, Little Mermaid,” “Rapunzel,” and more.

I was so excited to see “Alice in Wonderland,” featuring tea parties on ice, a processional of precision skating playing cards and a terrifying Queen of Hearts. Then I loved Peter Pan and Tinkerbell (who had pixie dust that sparked) while fighting off Captain Hook (yee-haw) and chasing him into a life-sized crocodile. It was unlike anything I had ever seen. And of course, I was enamored and felt the love tonight in the African jungle of the “Lion King.”

But anyone who knows me well knows that princesses are my favorite. I couldn’t help but get star struck as some of my favorite princesses took the ice and waved hello. The classic “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs” had me singing “someday my prince will come” until I was mesmerized watching Aladdin and Jasmine on a flying carpet ride in the arena. It felt like a whole new world. And then when I had my head in the clouds we went under the sea to a glowing coral reef with Ariel. And it went on and on with each princess teaching me a valuable lesson in being strong and believing in your dreams.

The grand finale featured my favorite princesses like Cinderella, Belle, Tiana, Mulan, and all the others skating together with their prince to “Someday My Prince Will Come.” I felt like I was at a Disney Princess Ball on ice. I kept my composure, continued to wave to them all while clapping and cheering along. Their dresses were amazing, the skating was flawless and seeing so many favorite Disney friends was truly a dream come true!

Most importantly, I learned that working hard to believe in your dreams, you can do anything. And finding the greatest treasure is finding the strength and determination to make your dreams come true.

The whole family will enjoy the breathtaking skating, loveable characters, and the happily ever after.
