Build a bridge, a skyscraper, or even a castle with KEVA at the Long Island Children’s Museum through Jan. 6.
The newest traveling exhibit, Building Boom features KEVA planks — a construction system that uses gravity, not glue, to build structures using precision-cut identically sized wood planks that become stable when stacked together. The planks encourage children to use their imaginations.
Children of all ages are invited to come in to look at the exhibit, then create their own masterpieces.
The exhibit is open Tuesday through Sunday, from 10 am to 5 pm. Admission is free with museum admission; general admission is $11, and $10 for seniors and children under 1. Members are free.
