Blackboard Awards

New York Family’s annual Blackboard Awards recognize and awards excellence in New York’s teachers. It doesn’t matter whether they work in public, charter and private schools. We invite the public to nominate special teachers who shape and touch children’s education. Being a teacher can be a thankless job. And at New York Family we are always in awe of the dedication, commitment and innovation of teachers. Even with rising class sizes and a lack of funding, New York’s public school teachers do an amazing job.

The Blackboard Awards are held at a venue in Manhattan. Teachers who have been nominated are invited to ask family and friends to attend. The Blackboard Awards in New York City is an amazing event. We love to celebrate NYC’s teachers from Manhattan, Brooklyn, The Bronx and Queens.
