Ethan Bortnick, a talented young musician and philanthropist, just released his latest song as an iTunes charitable download, with 100 percent of proceeds benefiting Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.
Ethan Bortnick, 11-year-old music sensation, is hitting the road this week in support of his new single and tour “It’s All About Music.” To celebrate the five-week stint and underscore his role as a young philanthropist, Bortnick’s latest song was just released as an iTunes charitable download, with 100 percent of proceeds benefiting Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. The hospitals raise funds for 170 top and nonprofit children’s hospitals across the United States and Canada, which, in turn, use the money where it’s needed the most. When a donation is given it stays in the community, helping local kids.
In addition to these digital single donations, Bortnick will be supporting Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals on each of his 22 stops, with a portion of all ticket and merchandise sales benefiting the local CMN Hospital in that market to help provide life-saving care, equipment and research. Joining Ethan on tour are special guests The KIDZ BOP Kids, Billboard’s #1 Kids’ Artists of 2010 and 2011.
The Bortnick family knows first-hand how children’s hospitals make miracles happen. Bortnick’s younger brother Nathan had three heart surgeries at Miami Children’s Hospital, a CMN Hospital, as a newborn and is now a healthy toddler. Since then, Bortnick and his family have worked tirelessly to raise money for children’s hospitals. Bortnick’s philanthropic efforts have raised more than $500,000 alone for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.
