Evenflo Launches New Car Seats

At a spa-tastic press preview last week, Evenflo introduced their new ProComfort Protection Series of car seats. These seats are made with gel-marix cushions that equalize pressure points and improve blood flow. What you may not know is high pressure buildup can create extreme discomfort for your children, so by equalizing pressure points you increase their comfort and safety on each car ride.

The ProComfort Protection Series features three different models: the Triumph LX Car Seat, Symphony DLX Car Seat, and the Amp LX High Back Booster Seat. All of these include popular features from Evenflo but one specifically is SureLATCH Installation, another newly introduced feature that will increase correctness of car seat installation.

Studies have shown 80 percent of car seats are installed incorrectly. Evenflo’s new SureSafe System will reduce incorrectness by 50 percent. The latch guides connect to the lower anchors of the vehicle, which is where they stay, and the quick connectors are located on the car seat. This allows for quick, easy, foolproof installation. The seat passed the 1 inch movement test which ensured that it didn’t move more than an inch in any direction when tugged on.

Also included on SureSafe equipment are buckle pockets that tuck away buckle tongues preventing hot buckle burns and allowing for quick, easy and safe entrance and removal to the seat.

SureSafe is featured in four models of Evenflo’s car seats: Symphony LX All-In-One Car Seat, Triumph LX Convertible Car Seat, SureRide DLX Convertible Car Seat, and the Embrace LX Infant Car Seat.

LIU Summer Sports Camps

This July and August, young athletes will have the chance to participate in week-long athletic camps at Long Island University designed to connect them with NCAA Division I coaches to learn fundamentals and help improve their skills -- all while having fun and making lifelong friends. Camps are open to children entering grades 2-8 at any skill level.
