Family fun at the oldest house in New York City

Chase away the winter blahs with a fun Farmhouse Family Day at the Wyckoff Farmhouse Museum on Jan. 20.

Drop in and explore New York City’s oldest house together. Arrive by 1 p.m. for a unique hands-on making activity. Seasonal activities inside the historic house and around the gardens include scavenger hunts, artifact investigation, gardening, self-guided exploration, and hands-on activities.

Family Day is open to everyone. Activities are designed for families with kids ages 4 to 10. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Frost Valley YMCA Camps

Frost Valley YMCA offers traditional overnight summer camp, teen and pre-teen adventure trips, horse camps, and an adventure survival camp. Children and teens grow in a safe and engaging environment, spending their first nights away from home, gaining skills as young leaders, and bonding with new friends on mountain hikes, swimming and boating in Lake Cole, ziplining, sleeping beneath the starry Catskill sky, and more. Kents Hill Sports Camp

A premier 3 week overnight sports camp, providing girls ages 8-15 an opportunity to excel in the sport of their choice, plus all the activities, spirit, &amp; values of a traditional summer camp. &nbsp;Girls will select a major (ice hockey, field hockey, soccer, basketball, dance)&nbsp;which they will participate in and receive a high level of instruction in each day.&nbsp; They will then choose all of the other activities they would like to try, which will round out their weekly schedule. We also have fun special events, cookouts, campfires, carnival, out of camp trips, and color war to end the session.
