On A Wing: Why Birds Matter

Learn all about birds, including why they are important to all of Earth’s ecosystems and how you can help them protect them. This great all ages event (though it is best for ages 5 and up), will be hosted by the Central Park Conservancy, NYC Audubon Society, and the Wild Bird Fund.
Handmade History: Full Steam Ahead

The theme is “Full Steam Ahead” at this art-making workshop for families. Explore the Society’s exhibit on ferries celebrating the 200th anniversary of the Fulton Ferry. Then paint a picture of a Brooklyn summer—inspired by ferries, parks, and the beach!
