A Comprehensive Guide To New York City’s Best Private Schools

If there’s a “secret” to applying to private school, it’s chiefly this: do your research with the goal of identifying the schools that you think would truly be the best fit for your child and family. You might want to consider the school’s location, their curriculum, which grades the school covers and how their pastoral care system works in case of your child experiencing any social or academic difficulties.

There are lots of good private schools out there offering excellent educations to our kiddos. Your job will be to identify the qualities in a school that are most important to you—and find out which local schools have them. Our descriptions are streamlined to give parents a thorough overview of New York’s best private schools. The next step is to visit their websites, check out when their next Open House is, and understand their application process in detail. Good luck!
