Holiday Recap: Elle Belle Enjoys Sesame Place’s “A Very Furry Christmas”

IMG_2576Sesame Place’s “A Very Furry Christmas” made me feel warm and furry all over! I had the most amazing time celebrating the holidays with my favorite Sesame friends!

It looked like the clouds and Santa got together and it rained Christmas on Sesame Place. The whole park was covered with festive lights, trees, wreaths, and snow while holiday music played all day. Everyone was also dressed for the occasion. My favorite pals Ernie and Bert sported winter vest, scarves, and earmuffs while the girls like Zoe and Abby had holiday dresses and sweaters. Of course, Elmo wore his signature red furry suit but had a cool hat to keep him extra warm and festive. And I wore my Abby Cadabby hat with my silver furry boots to keep with the Sesame motif.

Once exploring, I didn’t even notice that it was cold outside. I was so busy going to three shows, riding all the dry rides, and doing the rounds to visit with my favorite Sesame friends. All the Sesame friends were busy throughout the park driving the Furry Express Train, starring in seasonal shows, dancing in the Neighborhood Parade, and doing meet and greets. I rode the Furry Express with Mommy and Daddy and learned all about making chocolate gingerbread cookies with the Twiddlebugs and at the end Grover had some gingerbread cookies for me to sample. Yum! Next I was mesmerized by the holiday shows and would give the shows five stars. They were all holiday specials from Elmo’s World holiday edition to a Christmas show where Abby learns about the magic of Christmas with real snow falling. It was magical! Plus, the parade was off the charts with illuminated floats. It was electric!

My favorite part was the Dine With Me! where I shared a special holiday meal with my furry friends at Sesame Place. I was so excited that I ate two whole hot dogs and then worked them off dancing the whole time. While we dined, the Sesame friends each came around to my table to chat me up. Ernie (my personal BFF of the moment) loved the little Ernie that I brought and we all gave high fives and fist bumps and big furry hugs. Then Bert came to chill with us, too. It was one big happy family moment until I spotted Elmo across the room. I dropped everything and ran at top toddler trot speed to say hello, meeting his open arms with a giant hug. Elmo rocks! I also got to eat cookies and say “yum, yum” with Cookie Monster and dance like a ballerina with Zoe. And Telly toasted the holidays with me with our monster milk. Cheers!

This day was like a holiday dream come true. Especially since Ernie and Bert mostly exclusively danced with me during the dance party. I might have needed to run up to them with big dance moves once and reached out my hands for them  to hold twice and possibly scream for them across the room a few times but they were always there and ready to share holiday cheer with me. And in return, I busted out some of my best moves. I was holiday happy tapping with Elmo and friends at Sesame Place’s Very Furry Christmas!
