Hop Into The Weekend With Early Easter Ideas

As a Gilt Groupe fanatic, I was thrilled when Gilt launched a kids section for fashionable families. With Easter around the corner, I asked Gilt Kids Senior Buyer Melissa Keswin to give us the scoop on hot new springtime accessories and outfits for children gearing up to do the bunny hop. Check out Melissa’s guest post below! —

At GILT Kids we are
always thinking of new ways to add fun and playful trends to time-honored traditions. And on Saturday, March 10 at 12noon EST, Gilt Groupe’s Easter boutique will go live for readers to
shop for items like these, and much more!

FILLING THE BASKET

I love getting kids excited for their egg hunts! Mahalo
makes adorable bunny masks—we sell them in a pack of three, so it’s easy to
stock up for all your cousins and friends.

For girls: Headbands by Giddy
Giddy are a soft and simple hair accessory with beautiful springtime flower appliques for a special touch.

For boys: Inntrax Crayons are my favorite! These crayons are
made from eco-friendly birch wood and come with a matching desktop
box. Pair them with a great coloring book for the perfect gift.

EASTER DRESSING

If you have a little girl like I do, Joyfolie’s sweet shoes
are the perfect choice. The colorful footwear is adorned with flowers and bows,
and there’s no better way to step into spring.

For boys, these comfy boat shoes are a mini version
of Dad’s. They’ll definitely help your little one step out in style!

I love a pink dress on Easter Sunday. This Pippa and Julie one is a
great bargain at $34 (originally $68)!

You can also add some color into your boy’s wardrobe with a
fun pair of pants like these Bonobos–originally $58, now $34 on Gilt.

During our community-based program, young people will explore and reflect on their own story to create a larger, more meaningful experience, while gaining self-empowerment and gathering with like-minded peers.
