Its so easy to get lost in the hustle and bustle of the holiday season—to stress out about finding the “it” toy for your child or getting to the market before they sell out of fresh turkey. However, #GivingTuesday, a day created by New York City’s 92nd Street Y, aims to change our perspective this holiday season by encouraging people to take a moment to consider the more important things. Hope for Depression Research Foundation will participate in #GivingTuesday on November 27 by encouraging individuals to change the world by making donations to the organization.
Hope for Depression (HDRF) hopes people will think of their organization on this year’s #GivingTuesday. HDRF, which is dedicated to funding cutting-edge scientific research about depression and other emotional disorders, has set a fundraising goal of $25,000.
Since its inception in 2006, HDRF has provided more than $30 million through over 125 grants for advanced research. To donate to Hope for Depression Research, you can visit the organization’s fundraising page.
