There’s an ice cream truck in New York City that will donate all of its proceeds from selling icy cold ice cream treats to local museums in the New York City area, from the Children’s Museum of Manhattan and Brooklyn Children’s Museum to Staten Island Children’s Museum.
This summer, Time Warner Cable will be driving around New York in an ice cream truck, serving up icy cold ice cream treats for a suggested donation of $1. All of the ice cream truck’s proceeds will be donated to local museums in the New York City area.
From the Children’s Museum of Manhattan, Brooklyn Children’s Museum, and the Museum of the Moving Image in Queens to Staten Island Children’s Museum, the Time Warner Cable campaign aims to support science programs geared toward kids as part of the company’s Connect A Million Minds program.
Last year, the ice cream truck raised $15,000, serving cones and cups of chocolate, vanilla or swirl ice cream flavors, along with a choice of chocolate or rainbow spinkles–the same choices that will be on the menu this year.
