It’s a Dog-Day Storybook Sunday

It’s a dog day afternoon at Voelker Orth Museum for a special Storybook Sunday on Nov. 12.

Children listen to a reading of “Skippy’s Family,” a children’s book illustrated by Elizabeth Korn and written by Stephen Meader in the 1940s. It is a true story of a long-lived family pet, and a joy for anyone who loves dogs. They’ll read a selection of illustrated dog tales to share with young and old alike with light refreshments to follow.

Storybook Afternoon, Nov. 12 at 2 pm; appropriate for all ages; $4.
