M.A.T.S.S. Syosset Center is offering a new introductory level S.T.E.M. class in its after-school program this fall. This initial step provides structured inquiry-based and real world problem-based learning, creating an interdisciplinary approach to instruction that resembles knowledge used in real life.
The goal of this program is to pique students’ interest in pursuing the field of S.T.E.M while creating a lifelong love of learning. Classes are offered Tuesday through Friday from 4:14pm to 5:15pm for kindergarten and up. Session 1 runs September 18 to January 18 2019.
M.A.T.S.S after-school classes are scheduled right after E.C.E.C. Nursery/ GymSchool dismissal times for an easy transition. Other classes include gymnastics/ tumbling, cheerleading, dance, cooking, art, and music.
