Earlier this month (May 5), “Parks & Rec” star Nick Offerman made his on-screen alter-ego, Ron Swanson, proud by hosting a benefit for the New York YMCA Camp. The event, called “Nick Offerman’s Night of 23 Stars,” featured hilarity and music for a cause from Jason Sudeikis, David Cross, Fred Armisen, Cristin Milioti (of the Broadway production of “Once” and “How I Met Your Mother,” Jane Krakowski, Jon Glaser (of “Parks & Rec”), Mike Birbiglia, Olivia Wilde, Mare Winningham, and more!
The night of many laughs, held at at St. Patrick’s Youth Center, was all to benefit the New York YMCA Camp which offers a traditional summer sleepaway camp experience to city kids who may otherwise be unable to afford summer camp. In addition to the impressive celeb lineup, many staffers and board members from the YMCA’s awesome camp program also added to the cheery mood of the evening.
