Are your kids (or you) big fans of the action-packed and heroic animated Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles? If so, you’ll be delighted to learn that the TV and comic book anthropomorphic turtles have been recently declared the latest New York City official family ambassadors!
As part of a year-long campaign created by the city’s marketing program along with TV channel, Nickelodeon, which currently runs the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle program, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will welcome visiting families to all the boroughs of New York City via fun-filled turtle-based comic book-style advertisements craftily created by NYC Go.
Past Family Ambassadors include the lovable and adventurous Dora the Explorer, Curious George, and the Muppets. Now, the four Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, named Donatello, Leonardo, Michelangelo, and Raphael will encourage families to pay a visit to the city via New York’s Family Ambassador program. This year alone, 17.7 million people are expected to visit NYC, up from last year’s 17.5 million.
The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are a well-suited choice, as the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows movie starring Will Arnett and Megan Fox is set for release in theaters on June 3.
Look out for the ads for the turtles near you to check out their messages for visitors.
