Even the littlest kiddos need a lunch box—whether for preschool, day care, or lunch on the go! We’ve rounded up some of our favorite options for the toddler set. Each is easy to use, easy to clean, and best of all, colorful and fun!

Crocodile Creek Lunch Boxes. These insulted lunch boxes feature a range of motifs—from race cars to butterflies—as well as a zippered outer pocket perfect for notes and other surprises. They are phthalate-, BPA- and vinyl-free and can be cleaned with a damp cloth. Pottery Barn Kids Lunch Bags. Pottery Barn has a lunch bag to fit every child’s passion, from dinosaurs to princesses to soccer. The bags are made of durable cotton canvas with an interior PEVA lining that is environmentally-friendly and food-safe.  Other convenient features include an easy-carry handle, internal mesh pocket, and a simple-to-clean surface.  A matching backpack is available, and since it’s Pottery Barn Kids, so is personalization!  $22.50; additional fee for personalization.)

 

Skip Hop Insulated Zoo Lunchies. Skip Hop’s tremendously popular backpacks are not the only way kids can enjoy the company’s trademark zoo faces – there’s also a line of matching lunch bags.  A soft mesh pouch in the insulated main compartment is perfect for holding utensils or an ice pack. And the coordinating zipper-pulls for each of the 16 animal choices are an extra-fun detail. Whether your child selects the monkey with banana zipper like my son, the ladybug with flower zipper like my daughter, or any of the others, their choice will surely brighten up lunch time! ($14)
