New York City is taking advantage of the warmer weather with tons of outdoor events like a Children’s Carnival in Central Park, Sproutfest at Brooklyn Botanic Garden, the Family Overnight Safari at the Bronx Zoo, the 14th Annual Egg Rolls and Egg Creams Festival, and even an It’s Almost Summer Celebration at Wagner Park! The Brooklyn Botanic Garden is celebrating 100 years of kids in the garden—and everyone is invited! Take a fun rumpus on the scenic Cherry Esplanade; enjoy face paint, live musical performances, and storytelling on the tractor stage; or play silly games like brussel sprout bowling, peacock feather balancing, and vegetable hopscotch! Children will also get the chance to design their own dream garden and pot a tomato plant at a special workshop. Free with garden admission

14th Annual Egg Rolls and Egg Creams Festival

Families will have a blast at this annual festival celebrating both Chinese and Jewish culture! Language lessons, mah jongg, food, opera, acrobatics, music, and much more will keep little ones entertained all Sunday long. Free

Almost Summer Celebration

The multicultural festivities at this incredible event include a live pop-rock concert from Brady Rymer and the Little Band That Could, Hoop of Life Native American Dances with Ty Defoe, and a special Play Me a Story performance of The Hatseller and the Monkeys.
