A New Hyde Park favorite, Eddie’s Pizza, is going mobile to service the people of Manhattan with their tasty Italian fare. The truck will be on the move starting today, with stops for lunch mainly midtown and downtown, while dinner spots are all over: the Upper East Side, Upper West Side, Chelsea, Murray Hill, and Union Square. The menu lists a mouthwatering selection of their famed “bar pies” (personal pies either 10” or 16”) on either regular or whole wheat crust, an antipasto salad, and perfectly portioned sides of sweet potato gnocchi, zucchini sticks, and salad. The truck uses the same bar pie recipe and cooking methods as the restaurant, so you can expect quick service, locations that are convenient, and pizza that is, above all, delicious.
