Color Factory NYC

The Color Factory has opened only a few pop-ups across the nation and this amazing experience is perfect for anyone looking for a good photo op or wanting to spend a fun afternoon with the family! You’ll experience a burst of colors and interactive installations that’ll make this pop-up memorable. Tickets are $38 for adults and $28 for children ages 3-12. Enjoy the Color Factory’s many art-filled rooms and challenge your perception!

The Wonder Pop-Up

This fun pop-up experience is sure to be exciting and memorable for anyone that’s a fan of Alice in Wonderland. It opened on April 1st, with delicious themed drinks and food. The decor throughout this pop-up will put you straight in the world and atmosphere! You’ll even be visited by standout characters like The Mad Hatter, The Red Queen and more! Don’t forget to make a reservation for you and your party! It’s $27 per person for reservations, but they also take walk-ins for $15 without guaranteed seating.

This free arcade pop-up will have you reminiscing on all those 90s games that have entertained children and adults for generations. They have classic games like Pac-Man, Street Fighter, Mortal Combat and more with toddler-sized games to include the entire family! It’s a 3-floor space with interactive art, games, and merchandise. Make sure to look out for the secret two-story slide hidden behind a bookshelf!

The Friends Experience

Friends has been an iconic show for decades now, and this pop-up store is perfect for some quality family time! It’s a two-floor interactive experience where you get to see the characters’ apartments, the famous orange couch and more. Have fun taking pictures or admiring the environment! The Orchid Reality: Jeff Leatham’s Kaleidoscope

This beautiful display is worth the many photos you’ll be sure to take! This pop-up turns the garden’s conservatory into a breathtaking tunnel of floral designs that resembles what you would see with a kaleidoscope. Admire the orchid towers of varying colors as well as the fields of purple and white orchids. Ticket prices vary but make sure to visit before it closes on May 1st!

Museum of Illusions

Nothing is as it seems… especially in the Museum of Illusions. They have a huge collection of holograms, stereograms and optical illusions that will have you searching for the many hidden messages within each display. Made with a dozen curated and crafted rooms, Candytopia will give you the chance to try a wide range of candies, while also giving you a lot of cool photo ops! Kids will love exploring this colorful museum and they will have a blast spending time in their famous marshmallow pit. Adventuring Portal

<p><a name="m_-1473885667065203258__Hlk72147528"></a>Adventuring Portal runs Dungeons and Dragons (D&D) games for kids.   We have created a safe online space for tweens and teens to learn and play D&D.</p> <p>Our D&D Summer Camp session are a one-week experience.  Monday – Friday.  Each day will be 3 hours of gaming (with 2 breaks build in).  15 total gaming hours for $180.  If you have played with us before, you are entitled to 10% off.   </p> <p>Need your kids, nieces or nephews, grand kids or neighbor’s kids to be occupied for a bit so you can get work done & take care of your to-do list? Maybe your tween or teen is still a bit isolated and craves connection with their peers? Whether your teen/tween has played D&D before or is brand-new to the experience, this safe space brings players together to have fun and solve problems as a team in ways few other online opportunities do.</p> <p>All our games focus on experiential learning.   Our players leave knowing all the basic game play as well as experiencing: teamwork, bravery, compassion, generosity, negotiation, improvisation, gamer etiquette, strategy, critical thinking, problem solving, cartography and probability - all through online D&D adventuring!</p> <p>We are an inclusive organization and welcome gamers who are LGBTQIA+ and those on any spectrum. </p> <p>All girls’ groups available. </p> <p>I am a parent, a certified elementary school and middle school math teacher and last summer in the midst of the mess started Adventuring Portal, an online Dungeons & Dragons business for kids.
