Marjorie Mallard, a local mother, opened Precious Little Lambs Child Care Center in November to serve the families of Holbrook. The child care center offers full- and part-time care with before and after care available. Each age level has its own curriculum to meet the needs of all learners.
Marjorie Mallard opened Precious Lambs Child Care Center in November with a program that emphasizes each child’s individuality. A mother herself, Mallard says she gives the children at her center a “warm, loving atmosphere that teaches through play, exploration, and imagination.”
Precious Lambs is currently enrolling children between 2½ and 5 years and taking applications for the before and after-school programs. Mallard offers full- and part-time child care, with before and after care options available. The center has a fenced in playground and computers and holds events such as Parents Night Out and Family Fun Day.
The Creative Curriculum at Precious Lambs allows students to learn while developing confidence, creativity, and critical thinking skills. Each age group has it’s own curriculum, including number concepts, reading readiness, music, and arts and crafts.
“We pride ourselves on an individualized curriculum to meet the needs of different learning styles and types of learning,” Mallard says.
