The Holiday Train Show and GLOW Come Together for the Ultimate New York Holiday Experience
The Holiday Train Show is back and bigger than ever at The New York Botanical Garden with even more trains for 2023, and it’s paired up with NYBG GLOW for a whole new kind of New York holiday experience for families and people of all ages!
Start on the lawn to explore the all-new outdoor train display, then head inside and watch the famous model trains zip past nearly 200 New York landmarks under the warmth of the Conservatory.
Visit New York’s most iconic sights, like the Brooklyn Bridge, Yankee Stadium, and Rockefeller Center, all in one place and delightfully re-created from natural materials such as birch bark, lotus pods, and cinnamon sticks.
At night, enjoy the Holiday Train Show and NYBG GLOW, the Garden’s magical outdoor holiday light experience. See the Garden’s iconic sights and buildings, including the Haupt Conservatory and the LuEsther T. Mertz Library Building, become dramatic, glittering canvases. Thousands of dazzling, energy-efficient choreographed light installations create the perfect holiday photo op with family and friends.
Grab festive cocktails, drinks, and light bites available for purchase at one of NYBG’s outdoor bars or the Bronx Night Market Holiday Pop-Up. The only light show where you can also see a train show, together they create the ultimate New York holiday experience!
The Holiday Train Show is open November 17, 2023 to January 15, 2024, 10am-6pm daily.
NYBG GLOW nights are November 17, 24, & 25; December 2, 8, 9, 15, 16, 22, 23, 26–30, 2023; and January 6 & 13, 2024, 5-10pm.
