Max Cure’s Basketball Tournament & Family Fun Day For Fighting Cancer

The Max Cure Foundation invites you and your family to a 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament and Family Fun Day on Saturday, August 24. Aside from showing off your skills on the basketball court, you can help raise money for one of the leading public charities dedicated to fighting cancer.

The event features all sorts of fun, including a picnic lunch, a live streetball show, face painting, and tattoo artists. If you’re not into playing sports, be sure to cheer for your favorite team or enter Skills, Drills, and Contests for your chance to win a prize.

The Max Cure Foundation was established by David Plotkin in 2008, after learning that his son, Max, had a rare form of cancer. Max received treatment and becomes healthier as he grows older. To be sure other children can receive the treatment they need, Plotkin’s family wanted to raise awareness. Now, the charity funds an immune cell therapy lab at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center and helps families facing similar difficulties.

Roar for a cure at The Ross School in East Hampton. First tip-off is at 9am and Family Fun Day begins at 11am. Each team member gets a team jersey, lunch, sport gift bag, towel, and team photo. Each player on the winning teams receives a trophy.

Adult ticket price is $75, child ticket price is $50, or register your team here!
