Our friends at NYC Dads Group and City Dads Group have a super-awesome regular podcast called The Modern Dads Podcast–and they recently reached a very cool milestone: Their 50th episode!
Usually, the podcasts involve one of the Group’s founders, Matt Schneider, interviewing experts, authors, and other influential figures in the parenting world about issues and happenings in current events that have parenting or fatherhood themes and tie-ins.
However, for this special episode–entitled “#50 City Dads Group at 50 (Episodes)”–has New York Family’s editor-in-chief Eric Messinger turning the tables and interviewing Schneider and his co-founder Lance Somerfeld on the topic of the future of fatherhood.

Themes discussed include the expansion of City Dads Group, how expectations of dads are changing in the modern world, balancing parenting partnerships, and how the role of fatherhood fits into the future. Plus, The Parents Phrase Book author Whit Honea joins in at the end of the podcast to discuss fatherhood and community.
