The Shoe Tree in Morningside Heights will be celebrating its 10th anniversary this fall. The family shoe store is also adding new brands and extending its size range to include a larger selection for children and adults of all sizes.
Starting this past spring and summer the Shoe Tree expanded its size range to offer shoes for preteens, teenagers, and adults in both men’s and women’s styles. The size extension will be applied to The Shoe Tree’s newer brands along with a collection of the current brands they have to offer including Keen, Merrell, Timberland, Skechers, Geox, Native, Crocs, and Bogs.
The Shoe Tree added Clarks and Step & Stride brand shoes in September. The family shoe store has also welcomed Dr. Martens, Livie & Luca, Birkenstock, and Havianas. It will also add brands from Spain, such as María Catalán and Pataletas.
The Shoe Tree provides full service measuring and properly fitting shoes for children of all ages. Each season The Shoe Tree strives to have a new and trendy selection of footwear as well as specials on the previous season’s inventory. With a wide selection of brands and styles, The Shoe Tree aims to provide the perfect shoe suited to every child.
“We strive to provide a proper fit with excellent customer service in a friendly, family-owned and operated business,” says storeowner Karen Dixon. “We are keen on educating parents about the right fit for their child.”
