Tis the season to not only give to those you love the most, but to explore the festive sights of the city. And some of the most iconic NYC holiday sights are the holiday window displays along Fifth Avenue. From wintry wonderlands to stunning light designs, these themed exhibits are the perfect holiday activity for any family outing.

Barneys
You’ll love “Chillin’’ Out” in front of Barneys’ holiday windows, which celebrate all things icy! Two of the displays are actually walk-in freezers, which display the work of ice carvers making winter-themed ice sculptures, and the others include an Ice Castle display, an Arctic Chase filled with crystal covered penguins racing around a track, and a Winter Brilliance display filled with 700+ hand-blown glass elements. Music Together

The classes include songs, rhythmic rhymes and movement, and instrument play activities that are developmentally appropriate for the children and easy for parents and caregivers, regardless of their own musical ability.</span></p>

The Music Institute of Long Island

<p dir="ltr">Established in 1990, the Music Institute of Long Island (MILI) is a classical music school staffed by exceptional instructors from many of the most prestigious conservatories and graduate music schools in the United States and Europe. Long Island&rsquo;s foremost musical academies, its instrumental programs include violin, viola, cello, piano, flute, clarinet, saxophone and voice classes. MILI has been voted # 1 BEST MUSIC SCHOOL Consistently.&nbsp;</p> <p dir="ltr">They teach the Traditional, Suzuki, and ABRSM methods. Students participate in All-National, All-Eastern, All-State, youth orchestras, and score highly in NYSSMA and Royal Academy Music Festivals.
