Voilà Chocolat Launches A Tasty New Educational Series

For Voilà Chocolat, life really is like a box of chocolates… However, we know exactly what you’re going to get– fun chocolate classes! Voilà Chocolat is launching a new educational program that is starting with a “Chocolate 101” class for kids.

Starting on March 15, “Chocolate 101 For Kids” will meet every Tuesday from 4-5 pm at the Voilà Chocolat Upper West Side atelier. Children ages 3 and up are welcome!

In this new class, kids will learn about the chocolate production process and the chemistry involved in the process. Children will learn about the international chocolate industry, and they will even get to sample milk, dark, and white chocolate!

Plus, every participant will walk away with a one-page summary that illustrates the fascinating step-by-step process of growing, processing, manufacturing, and crafting, which transforms cacao into chocolate and artisanal confections. And most importantly, they will gain a new level of knowledge and appreciation for the science, craftsmanship, and artistry that is behind the high-quality, responsibly-sourced chocolate they can make and enjoy at Voilà Chocolat.
