Who Has “Happy Feet?”

Greetings! New York Family would like to invite you to
a special screening of “Happy Feet” – special because it’s a chance for you and
your children to share a great Saturday morning while supporting a wonderful
organization that helps families afford adoptions. —

Please take a minute to get to know Helpusadopt.org, and
its inspiring founder—NYC mom Becky Fawcett. Since its launch in 2007, they have helped to build 50 families with $360,000 in
awarded adoption grants. And will be rewarding another $60,000 in December of
this year. Think of the joy behind those numbers and think about how you can
help.

Details: Helpusadopt.org’s Annual Family Fun Day at the Movies
will take place on Saturday, Nov. 19, from 9:30–Noon, at Clearview Cinemas,
at 400 East 62nd
Street (First
Avenue). The screening of “Happy Feet” will begin at 10,
and there will be other entertainment and kid-fun at the
theater.

Those of you who have adopted, or have friends who have
adopted, know what an emotionally tumultuous and expensive journey it can be. Helpusadopt.org helps both couples and
individuals (regardless of race,
religion, gender, ethnicity, marital status or sexual orientation) with the cost
of their adoptions by awarding grants up to $15,000. They support domestic,
international and foster care adoptions and do not charge applicants to
apply.

Young Actors at Strasberg

Young Actors at Strasberg&nbsp;offers a comprehensive array of acting programs for students in grades 2 &ndash;&nbsp;12. Classes provide kids and teens with a foundation in Lee Strasberg's Method Acting and the tools to succeed in the professional industry &ndash;&nbsp;all while maintaining a fun and playful environment. Programs are tailored to encompass students at all levels, from those just beginning their acting journey to Broadway veterans and professional child actors. Young Actors&nbsp;Programs are available online and in-person at our New York Campus, located in Union Square. Saturday, After-School and Online classes are offered during the traditional school year (Fall, Winter, and Spring) and Monday through Friday day camps and intensives are held in&nbsp;July and August. About The Lee Strasberg Theatre &amp; Film Institute: Founded in 1969 by Lee and Anna Strasberg, The Lee Strasberg Theatre &amp; Film Institute is the only school that teaches Lee Strasberg's work in its complete and authentic form. Incarnation Camp

Wilderness adventure &amp; classic summer camp fun!
