UPDATE Dec. 7, 2019: Whole Foods Chappaqua is delaying its grand opening. A new grand opening date has not been released.
Whole Foods Market is scheduled to open its new 40,000-square-foot Chappaqua store, located at 480 N. Bedford Road, at 9am on Wednesday, Dec. 12. Opening day customers will be greeted with complimentary coffee and pastries outside from 8-9am, a free shopping bag giveaway to the first 200 customers, product demonstrations, and sampling throughout the store.
This location will offer a selection of locally sourced options, grab-and-go prepared foods, and organic grocery items. Some special features of this store include produce from regional growers, a full-service Allegro Coffee Bar, and prepared food bars with vegan and organic options. It will also have an expansive bakery offering a full line of made-from-scratch breads and rolls, as well as baked goods such as layer cakes, brownies, and coffee cakes. This will be a one-stop-shop for a full-service butcher, fresh regional produce, and body and beauty products!
The Chappaqua store will also feature Pizza Parlor, a 37-seat dining and beverage venue. This fast-casual place will offer pizza from a wood-burning oven, as well as a menu of antipasti and hearth-roasted main and side dishes. Pizza Parlor will be open daily, 11am-9pm, which makes it convenient for families who want to grab a meal before grocery shopping.
“We are excited to be part of the greater Chappaqua and Northern Westchester community,” said Alex Saa, the store team leader and a Hudson Valley resident himself. “We aim to preserve the character of this renowned location while offering the highest quality food that the people from New Castle and beyond have been waiting for. Whether it’s the ingredients for a vegan holiday, a quick lunch from our appetizing hot bar, or Friday night antipasti and fresh hot pizza with a local beer or perfectly paired glass of wine at our full-serve Pizza Parlor, Whole Foods Market Chappaqua aims to satisfy just about every preference and culinary desire of this community.”
Whole Foods has three other stores in the Westchester area, including Yonkers, White Plains, and Portchester. The Chappaqua location aims to employ approximately 230 full- and part-time team members. Whole Fooods Market Chappaqua will be open daily, 8am-10pm.
